Cala Mondragó & S'Amarador

Cala de sa Font de n'Alis also known as Cala Mondragó

Cala de sa Font de n'Alis or Cala Mondragó is situated at 5,6 kilometres from s'Alqueria Blanca and it belongs to Cala Mondragó, one of the most beautiful and big majorcan sea inlets, which is divided into two beaches, s'Amarador and this beach which we will now describe.
The depth of both coves reaches six metres on a sandy ground. The nearest port facilities are located at Reial Club Marítim Portopetro at 2,1 nautical miles.

The characteristics of this beach, fine-grained sand, not very deep water and gentle slope make bathing easier for small children. On the rear there is an area of wetland populated by eels, water snakes and birds.

Sa Font de n'Alis is the sandy area of Cala Mondragó which has a massive influx of visitors, due to the beautiful landscape, the facilities and due to the fact that it is the crossroads to reach the whole protected area. Following a trail toward west you will reach Caló des Burgit, and if you walk toward east you will get to s'Amarador.

The accessibility by car is easy and you can also reach the beach by the touristy train from Cala d'Or. The car can be parked for free next to the beach.

  1. This block is very interesting and the places that I have seen are more beautiful. But the problem is in the description of Cala Mondrago&S'Amarador because you have said that these beaches are nearly of S'Alqueria Blanca, however are Santanyí property and I don't see that this town had been mentioned in your entrance.

  2. Hello, S'Smarador is the best beach around the world! I go to this beach every day in summer because it is on the coast of Santanyi, which is my village. I would like people who aren't from Santanyi to talk about this beach.
Note that it is a virgian beach.
